What keywords are they targeting?
I’m just going to watch what they say they do, and their requests for SEO on my site.
We will see if they can improve my ranking for my website (mibearings.com) for the keywords ‘wheel bearings’, and ‘wheel bearing’ My ranking is already high, but they say it can be improved.
I just got an email confirming the setup of my account, and that there will be a rep. from the company emailing me shortly.
I am using http://www.websitegrader.com to track the improvement of my site.
I have saved the current results, and will compare them every week.
We will see how this free trial goes.
They are suggesting some ridiculously long titles for my homepage.
These titles would not attract customers or be SEO friendly.
So far, thumbs down.
LOL – not surprised there. Longtail and short tail keyphrase marketing makes a big difference in pricing out SEO.
It is interesting, I would like to know how the Longtail and short tail key phrases make a big difference to the price. Or it would make a big difference to the results.

Theres only 1 million competing (and most are not competing) pages for that phrase. I’m on page one (www.charlotteseo.org) and I’ve never done one thing to rank the site except launch it.
Google “real estate marketing”
Results 1 – 10 of about 99,700,000 for real estate marketing.
Competition is up fierce right? Now an SEO company has to rank above and beyond 100 million other sites.
Price for the first: $50 bucks. Results: Immediate. Why? Long tail
Price for the second: $15k. Results: 1 year to 2 years if you’re lucky. Why? Short tail keyphrase.
(By the way) On Top Results is number 12 for that second phrase.

I have learnt from the web(Google) that long tail keywords are those which are 3 or more words searched together. In that case “Charlotte SEO” is not categorized as long tail keyword? as suggested by you.

Not true. A long tail keyphrase is one thats simply not searched as much, hence the competition for that phrase is low, which in turn means theres no effort to rank it successfully.
You always have to look at the total number of results at the top right to determine how competitive a phrase is.

Because the reason I created this post in the first place is because they spammed my client. If you’re telling me that you’re thinking about hiring them, then you’re hiring a company that spams for business. Any SEO firm that ’spams’ for business is a joke. They’re supposed to be generating leads for companies because they have SEO expertise and can rank a website. Then why aren’t they ranking themselves to generate their own business?
ISO certification means absolutely nothing in the SEO field.

Are you familiar with the most popular SEO experts in the industry? Aaron Wall, Danny Sullivan, etc. These guys are not ISO certified and are the ‘founders’ of SEO knowledge.
You can’t claim a certification in a field, i.e. SEO, without it being backed by a legitimate organization and recognized worldwide. Google would never allow certification in SEO.
Wow. You almost had me Venkat. I’m slightly puking in my mouth. You know whats funny about my Joomla based Chronoforms? They capture the IP address of everyone that fills out a form on my site (or my clients site).

Nothing to report as far as their SEO services for me.
They say that they have made me some one way links.
In the beginning they also said it would take 8-10 weeks to get my site ranked highly, that’s past the trial period. I’m not paying them $200, unless I see some improvement for the targeted keywords, but that’s not going to happen.
Considering how deceptive Venkat has been on this blog post about his company, I wouldn’t touch these guys with a 10 foot pole.
Well, So far, My rankings in google have not changed, except for my rankings for “Front Wheel Bearings”, but I am still no page 3, which means nothing.
Rankings have went down in yahoo, probably just regular fluctuation.
