Google Chrome PageRank Extension

Now that Google Chrome has been released with the support of extensions, I thought it would be a good time to get the PageRank extension out the door. As you all already know if you’re reading this, PageRank has been available on Firefox and IE for quite some time. This extension works on Chrome for Windows as well as Chromium for Mac. Notice I said Chromium not Chrome. Thats the developer version of Chrome, so if you try to use it for Chrome it will not work.

UPDATE: I’ve decided to pull this plugin for various reason. Be sure to check out the extension gallery for other PR extensions.
Steps:
1. Download the file here.
2. Simply drop and drag onto Google Chrome.
(MACs) – If you use Chrome for Mac and need to “Enable” extensions, visit this link (linky)
3. Follow the instructions to “enable” it and you’re done!

To view the PageRank of a particular page, simply click on the “P” and it will display the PR in a tooltip bubble. I’ll be updating the image and adding it to the Chrome Extension store shortly, but need to clean up a few things.

I’m debating on how far to take this extension, maybe turn it into a full blown SEO extension. Let me know what you think.
